Hello, I am Jovanna! Born and raised in Chicago. I earned my AAS at Malcolm X College. I also earned my Bachelors in Healthcare Management from University of St. Francis. I am currently working towards my master’s degree in healthcare. I love being a Dental Hygienist since I do what I love most. I started my career in dentistry in 2016 as a dental assistant and knew I wanted to expand my career in dentistry. As a dental hygienist, I enjoy building patient relationships and educating patients on their individual needs while fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment. I am certified in the administration of local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and Diode laser. I am currently a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association (ADHA). In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, working out, and relaxing by the beach.
